Our History
In 1984, David & Elyse Chapman, partners in life and in work, combined their formidable entrepreneurial instincts and business savvy to create a unique company servicing the Canadian health industry. The model for Purity Life was based on David’s vision of “empowering people to create well-being in their lives.”
For more than twenty years, this vision has helped guide Purity Life to become Canada’s number one supplier of natural health products, directly servicing over 5,000 health food, pharmacy and practitioner accounts across Canada through its office in Acton, Ontario.
Purity Life may have begun as a small distributor, but through its commitment to customer and client satisfaction, it quickly grew to be the largest distributor of supplements and Health and Beauty products in Canada.
Purity Life is still privately owned by our current President and CEO Matthew James and Banyan Capital Partners employing over 130 team members across Canada.

At Purity Life, we have a number of unique and competitive advantages that differentiate us from our competition. We are dedicated to providing Canadians with Natural healthy living products, and we do that by offering the best customer service to our vendors and retailers.
Purity Life Health Products prides itself in employing one of the best teams of account managers in the industry. With coast to coast coverage, we have both outside and inside Account Managers all dedicated to providing exceptional sales service. In total our sales team consists of 19 account managers: 16 outside and 3 inside. Our Quebec and inside sales account managers are bilingual.
We also have an award winning Customer Service team made up of 9 individuals with diverse skill sets. This fully integrated bilingual department is highly proficient in all aspects of customer service including EDI capability. Rounding out these groups are 2 Directors, 2 Regional Managers and a Sales Analyst. All Purity Sales Reps are equipped with iPad’s giving them instant access to all Purity systems, presentations and product information while meeting with retailers.
